Yuba County

The Sutter/Yuba county operation began in 1957 under the name Yuba City Title. First American was the underwriter. In 1970 Yuba City Title was sold to First American and became a wholly owned subsidiary. Two years later the name was changed to First American Title Company and operations expanded into the Yuba County market. In 1973 the company was merged into First American Title Insurance Company.
